Click on the picture to link to webshots so you can zoom in to the picture.
By the shape of the rear legs it's not a calf. Wrong coloring for wolf/coyote. Cat??

Wow, that is a weird one! It looks too "tall" to be a bobcat (the legs are long). And too big in general. Could it be someone's dog?

I agree, it's too "red" to be a coyote. Even a mtn lion would be more of a dull tan color.

I thought about a dog but it would be VERY unusual for a dog to be where this camera is.

Can you get a height from that location?. For some kind of scale.
Thought Dog, but no tail. Grey hound??? maybe. Cougar? spraying the tree.. But Wrong color pattern.

Jag?? Color looks right.. Height?? iffy..

It's feline looking..

Get back out to location, look for tracks. Check that bush. for scent. :-)

good mystery...

It should be approx knee high, so 15 or so inches. If you zoom in on a good flat screen it appears to have a spotted pattern which would make me think bobcat. I have seen a couple bob's in this area before.

After zooming in and looking really close I would say that it is a bob cat facing the camera and looking to the left. Looks like its back is arched and may be spraying marking his area.

Definitely a bobcat - the AZ cats tend to look a little more lanky. Nice pic quality by the way.
