Hopefully not tooting a non-exsistant horn but word is a new BF 5MP cam for $119..99
The GSC35-50IR. 5MP/1.3MP,1 sec trigger, LCD display screen.
B/Oed now but "suppose" to release Mid-June.
Not much luck on GSC52-T80. Problems with leaky gasket. Still working on it.

Thanks Carl, I hope it works out as it would fit my small budget better. It seems Hunten always has a humdinger in the works, but never makes it to the dance. Maybe they will finally break through with a winner and makes us all happy.

I like my Huntens but they kill batteries. Wish this little inexpensive Blackflash used AA's and had Scoutguard like battery life. The sensor, day pics and trigger are pretty good on my models but night flash is not so good.

Here's hoping they get the 70 model and this new 35-50 right, the price is certainly appealing.

Hey Carl, Are you sure about that? How'd they get 53 LED's in there? That is exactly the same case and the same LED window that the 35-20 has yet the 21 LED's fill that window.

Have you confirmed it's truly a black flash cam? I have yet to come across a true black flash camera. I can clearly see the red blob from my black flash cams.

I will check with Rep today but info I have,
Huntens website and packaging on cam all
state 53 LEDs/40' range. It is the exact same
case as the other 35 series cams. ??
No, I haven't checked one yet but if they use
the same system as the 22-T70,then yes, because I
couldn't see anything from it.

OK, I just went out to my front porch and snapped this pic of one of my 35's that is on guard duty watching the front door. I painted it tan to blend in better with the concrete deer statue that I have it strapped to. IMO it looks identical to the pic you posted except yours is camo with black over the array. Just hard to believe they stuffed 53 LED's in there---but I hope they did! :D

$120 for a blackflash hunten is priced about right, I would like to see some pics from this cam.

My Hunten C35-20IR is great on batteries. Mine got about 5,000 pics on the last set of batteries, I would call that good. I will say that I wish they used AA's instead of C's

HD79, I too wish they took AA batteries! But at least if I get one I could use the "C" Tenergy batteries from my dead Uway NT50-B!

Thanks for your efforts Carl!
It might be easier to set the cam to video then observe the flash through a handheld camera and count the LED's that fired.

New technology. There are 53 LEDs,greatly reduced in size to
be more efficient, unlike the T70 which uses normal
sized LEDs. Word from tech at Hunten

I see you have this cam listed on your site. Have you tested one out yet?
