First off, yes, I know skin_dog personally and I have purchased 2 SGs, 2 Covert I, (with security boxes) and 1 Covert II off of him. I got to know him through some business deals, officially scoring deer, and general hunting advice... He has always proven to me to be very honest and will do what he says. I have confidence he will take care of his customers to the best of his ability. And, aside from his proven character; he has some of the best deals going on all these cams, especially if you buy in quantity. I have several friends who have dealt (other than cams) with him, and they will all say the same.

Thanks John,
BTW, the new covert II bear boxes should be in sometime in the next 2 weeks (fingers crossed). Ed has sent the first "prototype" out already so it should be here in the next 2 days. Once it is approved, the boxes will be out quick.

I'm not trying to get in the middle of anything on here...but I've got to ask Anthony this.

Why did you remove your original post on this thread...(not verbatim), "I would question this company's customer service in comparison to HCO..."???

AND, my original post and those quoting it has been edited, removing (again, not verbatim)... "I would NOT question their customer service..."??? How can you edit someone's post which was presenting in a professional and legitimate format? It's concerning for sure.

In all honesty, your original statement in regards to questioning a company's customer service is in itself biased if you have not had first hand experience with them, or have at least a substantial list of other customer issues documented...

My goal was to say something to the affect of "With this being a lesser known company, people should be aware of the unknown, namely in the customer service area, until there are enough buyers that we get a feel for it", but no matter how I say it, it sounds negative.

With HCO and Beebusy (and others) it was an unknown at first as to what kind of warranty support they would offer but now it is evident by all the posts of buyers and this has become known.

I felt it was best to just not sound negative and remove that comment, since after all this is the vendor self promotion forum and it was best to let them promote themselves openly here (as this is what it was for). I removed what would not make sense in your reply since I had removed my post (only a few words at the beginning). Your main thoughts (praise) is all there verbatim.

Does this make sense ? I was just trying to be fair about it and not sound negative but my point would be taken as negative no matter how I said it so I decided to remove those comments.

OK, sounds reasonable. I think it would have been a cleaner transition if you'd left the original stuff and just followed up with, "It has come to my attention that my statements might sound negative in some ways, and I simply misspoke or could have phrased it differently..." Something to that affect.
