Please be aware that when the summer heat is here that the cameras quit working as they would during the fall and spring.

We are starting to see a lot of "what's happening to my cam" questions and most of that is the summer blues IR sensor thing.

When the difference of the ambient temperatures is close to the body heat of the animal things really slow down. You must also remember that most of those animals still are wearing a fur coat which prevents a degree of heat radiation.

Small animals also will become harder to sense.

Yep....good post Anthony..I have seen it on Homebrew & Store bought alike!

Another way the heat can get you. I had some shoots of weeds grow like crazy and get up in front of the sensor on my homebrew. That sucker took pictures like mad...all flora...very little fawna :lol:
