Hunt in Central Texas with my family on our property. I am a double finance/ real estate major with one class short of also minoring in accounting and financial services. I am a real estate brokers assistant and swim teacher on the weekends. I Love Hunting and Fishing.

We have 4 moultries and 1 Cuddeback camera. Waiting for Anthony and gang to review up the new ones. I am very anxious because of the new pictures posted, but little worried about the white out problem I keep hearing about.

Welcome to the forum and I am sure a Fellow texan will give a nod soon. I asume you have read the reviews in progress on the new Moultries. When the "M" series comes out I hope we will get one early and review those as well.

Please read what we've written thus far. Also, take a look at the sample photos I have uploaded. If you need more samples I can get you some more.

Do you have high speed internet ?

Yup, I have high speed internet. I have been keeping up with the reiviews as you write them. I just didnt know if have come to the conclusion of a stamp of approval or not on the new I Moultries. I havent seen anything on the remote control and how well that works yet either.

Whats the M series?

Well, in reference to the remote. Yes, we have tested it thoroughly but we have questions pending with Moultrie right now. several infact on various topics. So, you are correct that this review is not complete yet.

Our impression is that we really like what we've found thus far. The only problem I find is the white out issue but only when I was under dark forest cover. out in the open (edge of the forest looking at a feeder) I did not get any white outs.

So this is an issue that will vary with the environment. This is one of the questions posed to the Moultrie engineering right now. Their response was "we are looking into this now and will get back with you at some point. We hope this can be resolved with a firmware update".

Keep in mind they have now firmware update system via the website, so no sending your cameras back all the time for updates.

The M-series are like the I series only Standard flash instead of IR. I expect those to be kick donkeys rear end too but we'll have to see.

Also, the Stealth Prowler (IR) is on the way as well... this is another one to watch out for.

Well I know I am not the only one who really appreciates all the work you and the crew do in reviewing the cameras, thank you for that; and thanks for the replys to the questions.

Can the whiteout problem be fixed with an update or is it just to early to tell?

Welcome to forum. You Texas boys know there wouldn't be no Texas if it wasn't for us Tennessee boys. "Born on a mountain top in Tennessee, the daringnest man you ever did see, Davy , Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier".

On a serious note, those Moultries are sounding good. Hope they don't fizzle out and let everyone down.

Davy Crocket? Boy that brings back memories. I live in Dallas now but i'm from Johnson City Tnn. My entire family on dad's side is from limestone Tnn, where Davy was born (actually a couple miles away along the banks of the Nolichucky river). I went to high school... you guessed it, Davy Crocket high, in Jonesboro.
