We heard several reports that there were shortages on these cameras from various dealers and they were wondering what we knew about it.

We queried our contacts and found that there is a chip shortage used in these cameras. They expect supplies to begin shipping again by 8/5/09.

You might want to revise that date to somewhere around mid-september
