What do you think ? I am blown away by the sound. These are 640x480 advertised at 30fps using MPEG-4 codec.

Awesome! The manufacturers are stepping it up this year, aren't they?
Going to be tough on which cam to buy next, I40, or SG55, or LF 5.0 or

Anthony,

I looked at the original and see the same pixelation. It is pretty characteristic with mpeg-4 highly compressed video. The sound and video quality are similar to my DVREye. I don't find audio a requirement for most of my applications, but I do find it a real nice-to-have. It is neat to hear turkeys drumming and clucking with a video.

I sort of consider audio as a bonus.

Thanks,

Jack

I really do like the audio. That was one thing I always wanted my cams to have.

Try $329... or 379, depending on which model. Quite impressive with the sound just the same ! This was a surprise for me upon reading this post about the sound. In Cabela's Archery catolog, they have 'em there, but says nothing about sound that I saw. They do show the insides of the cams & you can see the slots for a speaker, but if you didn't know they offered sound, you might not notice that. This will be all the more interesting in the upcoming years on who else will offer sound . I do see where Bushnell offers one with sound as well, but Bushnell is... well Bushnell

Great, make sure to let everyone know when you get your camera and post some sample stills and movie files for us.
