I'm currently running two 550's (bought last year) and was wondering if the new 560 model takes better quality night pictures than the 550 does? They seemed to take brighter pics in the review on here than my 550's. Also, do the 550 and 560 use the same remote? Thanks.

The SG560 does take better day and night shots. The 560 uses the remote that is compatable with the SG550V.

My cams are the regular 550's not the 550V models, so the remote for the 560 wouldn't work with them?

the latest remote controls for 550V and 560Vare compatible,
though some earlier 550 remote controls are different.

The non-V models may also share the same conrollers for 550 and 560.

However, 580 will use a different controller.
