whats up all!!?? i have had 3 of my 5 cameras power switches snap off on my sg550's...believe me,,,i am NOT rough with these cams at all...2 of them won't work at all now after this happened and the other one i can power on with a paper clip...any thoughts? pretty disappointing that after 2 years i have some non functioning cams!!!!

send me a pm if interested in having them repaired. I have had to fix a bunch of them. There was a timeframe when the switches were just weak.

I have one I bought in May 2009 that also had a switch that broke. I can power it on & off with a pin, but now I just leave it powered up and plug in the remote when I want to swap SD cards or transport it. Works fine, and if I pull it for the winter I just remove the batteries. I'm afraid that if I keep turning it off & on eventually it will break permanently.
