I still can't find my owner's manual. I was hoping somebody could give me a quick tutorial on Setup>Menu>PIR. Does Timer Switch>On set the times the PIR will detect, or is it for time lapse? I'm hoping it's the former, because this afternoon, I set mine for 17:00 to 07:00, and I haven't gotten a false trigger (or any other messages) from it since.
It was going bonkers this morning and into the early afternoon, with multiple pictures of "nothing." I trimmed some low-hanging branches that were getting in front of it, but that didn't seem to help, so I decided to try restricting its hours of operation.
Not knowing what Timer Interval is for, I left that at zero. I also boosted the detection range to High, because even though it was sending lots of pics, it didn't seem to detect me at the distance I'm hoping it'll detect human activity. Hit "Okay" a bunch of times, changed its external battery, and locked it in its case.

Someone remind me again how much fun trail cams are.

Doug....On my Code Black the timer in the PIR menu is for the hours of operation in normal trail camera mode. It's just like store hours, the first time entered is when the camera comes on (store opens), the second time entered is when the camera turns off (store closes).

Okay, looks like I got that part right. The S.W.A.G. method (Scientific Wild-A**ed Guess) prevails again.

Thanks, Pat. Image
