That's the only thing I hate about my 466. It takes horribly dark pictures under any kind of canopy.

That is a problem with my 435C as both have dark pictures during the day time. Has anyone returned a 435 for this problem?

There is also a street light shining down on the left side of the pics.

Not in the game pics later in the topic

They sure do look a lot better and none of the deer have any motion blur to them. It could be that they are totally motionless, but even some of those in the beginning of this thread that crosshair posted look like they are hardly moving yet they are still blury.

luv2hunt, do you have any more night pictures of deer where they are moving slightly? Has the motion blur been a problem with night pics from your 119437c of moving deer?

thanks

I would call it "normal" motion blur for IR night time pictures. I will post more pics at night later this evening and give you a better idea. This cam throws a lot of light down range which I am happy to see...similar to my Moultrie M-80s. I've truely have had 10+ IR cameras and this one is not any worse than any others at night. Just to put my $$ where my mouth is I went and purchased 2 more 437s because personally I like the fast trigger time (0.7sec) and day/night images. JMHO...

Here are a few more night time photos with the 119437c having varying amounts of motion blur. I'd call the amount of motion blur "average" from what I've seen in the past but that happens with IR flash unless they are totally still. They are mostly of coons as deer didn't move through my area that night. This sucker really throws out a lot of light...

i think something else may be going on with crosshair,s cam. they look like the pictures from my 466,which i bought in october and had no problem.then around the first of the year i started getting pictures like that. it seems that bushnell is on top of things pretty well. surely they would not release cams that are giving pictures like that. it has to be something in there filmware that is changing althought it is not supposed to. truly hazelvillebucks

I tried to show some clear and blurry night time pics to get a variety. I think between my two Moultrie M-80s and the new 437c (3 of them) I'm set to go but still am watching to see what happens with the Primos Ultra line of cameras. I guess I can never have enough game cams :D

Yea, comparing crosshair's pics to luv2hunts8's pics, it sure does seem like something is wrong with crosshair's camera

I sure do like how much the 119437c lights up the night compared to previous IR BTC's, especially last year's model 119436c, those were very dark in every one we tried (several). They were sent back a couple times and the new ones in return were all the same.

luv2hunt8, how far is that lone big tree in the center of the background of your pics?

thanks

That pine in the middle is ~ 35 feet previous cams would hardly light that area. I have seen deer fairly well illuminated an additional 15 feet beyond that.

I double checked the distance of the pine and it is 42 feet out from the cam.

+1

42+ feet of good lighting, .6-.7 second trigger, no tunnel effect.... I can live with that :D going to have to give one of these a try.
