RECONYX...PC VS HC

CAN ANYONE ANSWER THIS....THE PC800 HAS 70 EMITTERS AND THE HC500 48...CAN I ASSUME A MUCH BETTER NIGHT PICT WITH THE PC? DOES ANYONE HAVE BOTH....AND CAN ADVISE OF THE DIFFERENCE? THANKS.

I have the PC800. Warranty is two years. Parts inside the camera are supposed to be more weather resistant. You can infinitely select the settings on triggers, delay, delay between triggers, where the 500 you can't. Yes, like you said the lighting is better and has a longer range. And it's only available through Reconyx and you can customize some of the features, like the lens and stuff like that.

I like it and the camera if you don't care about the IR flash is the best out there in my opinion.

I would look into the PC800. It has a 75 foot flash range I believe. The HC600 only has a 50 foot range.

THANKS GUYS. I HEARD TOO MUCH ABOUT POOR NIGHT PICTS ON THE LESSER COSTING CAMERAS. I KNOW THAT ONE IS LOW GLOW AND ONE IS THE NO GLOW.,..I BELIEVE THE PC800 IS LOW AND I WILL LIVE WITH THAT. AND IF I SEE MYSELF SPENDING $450 FOR ONE, MAY AS WELL GET THE PC FOR $550. THANKS AGAIN.

I'm sure youll be happy. I would like to add one to my arsenal. Maybe next year. But hey, who knows what they will come out with by then!

THANKS SLAY...YEP..THAT CELL BASED SYSTEM WILL BE PERFECTED BEFORE LONG. RIGHT NOW I HAVE AN OLD MOULTRIE GAME SPY....6 YEARS OLD..AND STILL WORKS.....A WILDGAME 8MP WITH 6 VOLT NICAD...AND A NEW M-80 IN THE WOODS. I AM SERIOUSLY CONSIDERING THE PC800.
