I started my little test today. I had a SG 560v watching a trail for the past 3 days. And got 5 different deer will 5 deer at different times. Today i placed the Ltl Acorn just below the 560. I set both cameras settings the same. I left the side censors on. The cameras are at 90 degrees to the trail. And about 20ft from the trail.
All I'm wanting to see is if one camera misses any deer.
I plan on checking the cameras Saturday. I hope something walks by.

Both cameras are 3 shot burst, 8 sec delay, 3mp pics, and High sensitivity.

Will my little test didn't pan out or maybe it did. I had to send the Lil Acorn back.
At 10:16 both cameras triggered and took these pics.
Image
Image
The 560 took 6 pics of this deer ending with this pic
Image
The Acorn took 3 pics of the deer and 3 blank ending at 10:17
The next trigger was at 10:22 with the acorn triggering first
Image
Then the 560
Image
The Acorn took 9 pics of this deer and 3 blank ending at 10:23
The 560 took 3 pics ending at 10:23 Which is weird because the the last 3 pics from the Acorn were blank.
So what we have in this set was. The acorn taking pics the 560 missed then the Acorn missing some the 560 took
But bottom line they both showed me the deer.
The 3rd trigger was at 11:18 .with 3 pics of this deer.
Image
The Acorn missed this and took no pics.
The 4th trigger was at 18:18 both cameras triggered with 10 sec difference in time. And both took 3 pics
Image
Image
The last trigger was at 17:36 The 560 took this pic and 2 blank. The Acorn missed it.
Image

The reason for returning the Acorn Was it made a loud clunking sound before and after every trigger. Night shots only.
As we know there's good and bad in every camera.

THanks for posting. Do you know if in the 1st pics you posted the deer were coming straight down that hill trail or if they came in from the left? Also, that very last pic is what frustrates the tar out of me.

I have no idea where the deer in the first pic came from.As you can see my blind in the back ground. So i hunt this spot often. Most of the time the deer travel across in front of the cameras. The deer in the 3rd trigger is walking along the trail.
I know i hate those shots, But it looks like the deer was running.
From a hunting stand point. The cameras told me there is deer using the area. And at a time that's during legal shooting times.

Going back to a earlier post i have about me seeing. Deer reacting to the red blob. When i first put out the 560 i had a few night pics. As you can see no night pics since that first night.

Did you have both cams clock set exactly? 10 to 13 seconds is a lot of time span for testing. Some good pics there.David

No they were set close on the time. But not to the sec. All i really wanted to see. is if one camera showed me a deer that the other missed.
Whats a puzzle is the 560 took its last pic at.10:17 and not again until 10:23. While the Acorn took pics of a deer dead in front of the cameras. From 10:22:16 Sec between shots,18,20,32,34,36,48,50,51 that's 9 pics. Then 3 blank pics 10:23:04,06,07.
Then the 560 took pics from 10:23:11,11,12. 3 pics the Acorn missed. I believe this is the same deer just milling around in front of the cameras.
Then the 560 took 3 more at 11:18:02,02,03. That the Acorn missed i believe this to be a different deer just walking the trail.
The grand total from the first pic of this one deer.
SG 560V 10
Acorn 12
Grand total pics
Acorn 15 blank 6
SG 560V 16 blank 2

Good test!
Very good pic quality on both cameras!
I think the Acorn missed the two deers because it was put below and maybe the deer went above its sensing level.
Here is an example showing the importance of placing the camera higher
As you can see cameras placed higher cover more area, specially downwards
