I thought I had seen an estimate of around the end of April but it may have changed since them. I have my eye on the BF7 but the HD12 looks interesting with the extra IR trigger, could possibly mate that with their wireless BF IR extender for a very nice setup...

I like the BF7 because it uses switched based controls rather than digital, seems like many of our hunting group have difficulties with the digital controls. I'm figuring the switches will seem easier for them to want to approach and use them otherwise they are very standoff'ish about the cams.

Has Spypoint corrected the tunnel/flashlight effect on their new low glow cams?

On all of our new models we now use LEDS that emit the infrareds at different angle so the lighting is scattered more evenly and we don't get the tunnel or flashlight effect anymore. The same technology is used for the standard infrareds and the Black Flash cameras.

Here's a few pictures we took with an IR-5 to show you the difference. The date and time is wrong on both pictures because we took the 2 cameras straight out of the box and forgot set it. They were taken a few weeks ago and there's about 2 minutes between the 2 photos.

That's really good to hear. It'll make for much nicer night pictures. The minimum time delay has been shortened if I remember correctly. I have high hopes for the 2012 models! I assume the new flash boosters have been improved as well?

Just when I was ready to pull the trigger on a IR-5 I found on special you have to come out with a decent priced black flash...what to do, what to do.

The window for the spypoint reviews is slowly closing and the cameras have not arrived so we are forced to move the next in line into the remaining slot. This is the Uway cameras. We will try to fit the Spypoint cameras into our schedule as time allows.

My ir6 is a decent cam takes great daylight pics but the night pics are unacceptable for any cam,If they have the problem fixed then i would be glad to take a look at the black flash cams. But there going to have to be some really good reviews from this site before that day will come.
