I am always looking on the web for hunting stuff and ran into a place in TX that makes an attractant called HaveMoreDeer. They make it sound real good, however don't all companies make there product sound good. I am somewhat interested in trying it but wanted to know if anyone of you guys have tryed it?

I'm sure of one thing... Just like fishin' lures attract as many fisherman as they do fish, it'll attract as many hunters as it does deer...

I haven't tried it myself, but just go ahead and buy it anyway. In addition to mixing it with deer feed such as corn, you can likely dump it down your pants for enlargement of that "certain special part of the male anatomy" or rub in on your head to prevent hair loss.... .....I'm sure it will be just as effective at any of these!

I've sold a lot of trail camera mounts to a guy here in Texas that sells an attractant called "Buck Candy". Jeff gave me a jug of the stuff about a month ago; it's a powder that has a strong "green apple" smell. My feeder at home had corn starting to pile up under it because the deer were attracted to an abundance of Spring clover and other natural Spring browse. I sprinkled a little Buck Candy over the corn pile, and sure enough, the deer started showing up and eating the corn again. I don't have my feeder running right now, so I can't testify to the full effectiveness of the stuff, but I'd say it seems to work.

Can't use bait for deer or bear in here in NY but what ever happened to good old corn and Grape Flavored Koolaid? Walmart Water Softener Salt? Vanilla Extract and Vegetable Oil? Peanut Butter?

I have found over the years that deer will eat just about anything that comes on the market for awhile.I have found that if you constantly keep changing things on them that they will tend it better.I think the smell attracts them just out of curiosty and after finding the scource will eat it but soon tire of it.It also depends on the time of the year and what their body needs.
Right now they will walk right by corn but come colder weather they are all over it.As for salt they work it year round and all critters need it.However I love trying new things so I too am always looking for that one product that they can't live without and become addicted to it.

From what I have found most deer here in TX dont really go to minerals well. They do pay a bit of attention to salt, but very little. During the fall months Trails End #307 works better than anything I have ever tried. A few other things that have worked for me are C' Meer Deer, Vanilla and grape Koolaid...... none of the reasults from any of these were all that great. Peanut butter attracks the hogs and coons faster than the deer. The area I hunt is know for growing peanuts thats one reason why we have the hogs.

I have heard of Buck Candy, I might give that a try. I have also yet to try water softener salt or tabs, another one I will try too.

I am like Bluesman is. I am always lookin for something that the deer might really like.

I've never heard of it before,we have the Buck Cocaine,Buck Jam Apple Lickers which is mostly salt with some minerals and several others that are basically products with similar ingredients. One of the best Attractants/Minerals we have is the Lucky Bucky which has more good minerals for Antler Growth for the Bucks.

One of the best homemade items I've ever used and had great results with is the Arm & Hammer Salt Lick that I mentioned in Nantucket's "Mineral Block" Post.I've seen it hit hard all year round and the Deer simply love it and work it out of the ground to where its a nice big deep hole!

Trophy Rock works from now till October & I've got good results with Bone-demonium!!! Its just cracked corn with minerals but the Bucks love it!
