I'm done for the year. Spent three hours walking today and ended up with a fork horn. Ended up with 15 sheds this shed hunting season. Ended up with 29 last season. HUGE competition here on the island for sheds. A ton of guys do it. If you don't have a spot that nobody else knows about, you are wasting your time. I am fortunate to have discovered an area which I had all to myself for two years now.

My grandmother used to always say "You can shear a sheep many times, but you can only skin it once". There's a little bit of an analogy there, albeit remote, between shed hunters and trophy hunters.

Same down here. Looks like just as soon as they shed they're going to start sprouting another set.

Same here in Southeast MO.,I had a trail camera pic of 1 Buck that lost both sides and a Spike Buck running with it that still had its Antlers and a nice Big 8-Point Buck that had both his sides also.I found a different Spike Bucks shed antler a few weeks ago and last week I found 1 side of an antler shed with 2-Points on it.Its been a Crazy Year around here with all the mild weather and now with temps in the 60-70's and a few times up into the lower 80's...even found 2 spots on another place that had 2 small tree's that were rubbed by Bucks!
