I rigged up a remote control (wireless) floodlight for shooting hogs at night using a standard (white) LED lamp. It worked but the white light spooked the hogs. Had to shoot fast! It worked best is someone else pushed the button while another person shot.

So, I found some red LED patio lights on EBay. They say hogs cannot see red. They worked, BUT, they have an internal circuit board that makes the LED's produce red light. The circuit board interferes with the 433 MHz wireless remote control making the lights producing a rapid strobe effect (rapid on/off). I figure that would scare the bejabbers out of the hogs!!! Tomorrow I'm going to try wrapping the lamps with aluminum foil to see if that helps block the interference.
