Like most everyone else on here I won't buy without coming to Chasingame for all the pros and cons of Cams or related items.I first look at the test Anthony and Bill does and if it is what I like then I will think about buying.I also watch the everyday user of an item to see if problems are common for an item or maybe is questionable as to human error.I know when I got my first Moultrie I40 I was unhappy with it and returned it but after learning more about Cams I feel that a lot of the problems I was getting was user error.
I am normally not a new model buyer of anything.I like the older models that are tried and true.Once I find something that works for me I tend to stay with it.Unless something like the XtendIR comes along and greatly improves things. Then I will dig for coins as fast as I can get them dug up.
My veiw is that the cam companys should be getting their line of goodies on the market early in the year(Jan) so that most things can be tested and bugs worked out before most hunting seasons start in the Fall.
I think that since folks have Chasingame and other sites that users can refer to that the Cam Company's are going to have to change their way of thinking about marketing.David
