Regarding an SD card for my 466, do you guys recommend Transcend 8 GB Class 10 SDHC Flash Memory Card, I know with the 09 btc everyone recommended the San Disk brand, is that still the case. I am using a 2 gig sch 2 card right now for videos and I need to step it up a bit. Thanks

i would use sandisk recommended by bushnell could be for a reason, i would use the ultra, or extreme ONLY. 2gb card seems to not have the quality of a class 4 ultra.

If someone could post a video from a class 10 sandisk extreme card it would be interesting to see if there is any difference in quality in videos compared to my sandisk 4gb ultra class 4.

Sandisk Ultra or Extreme is recommended for HD video. There is no difference in pic or video quality or any other functionality on the cam. There may be some difference on the PC but I didnt bother testing them there. The Sandisk Ultra cards are the best value and work perfect. Purchase them large enough for ever how long you plan to leave cam deployed, then double the capacity of the card - just in case. Having two cards for each cam is also a good idea.

I tried other lower grade cards and I could barely get any pictures, so I went with exactly what the manual says to use. All is fine now (I hope).

Exactly. I've got both and se no difference other than download to the computer.

Tbone, the first several vids I posted were from the Extreme cards.

Why not get the recommended Sandisk cards? There are 4gb Ultras on E-bay for $9.99 and 8GB Ultras for $16.99.

I agree Pic, go with the Sandisk for overall compatibility with not only the Bushnell cams but all other devices out there. Sandisk is preferred card for more devices than any other brand.

I am ok with Sandisk, but I can not find the ultra in a 6 or 10 class

As long as it says Ultra on the Sandisk label, it will work great. The Ultras are class 4 only:

If you want Class 10, you will need to waste some money on their Extreme version:

I use the Sandisk 8g class 10 Extreme. Seem to be working fine.
