I signed up for EITW but have never received a confirmation email back. It has been close to a week.

Well if you dont get it within a couple of minutes then the email was eaten by your anti-spam somewhere.

I can activate your account now.

Anthony, I signed up with eyesinthe woods a while back. I have to be honest I got so frustrated with it I canceled my account. Having to imput so much information for every single picture was so time consuming. It really made uploading multiple pics a pain. Maybe I was missing something but I tried to get around it every way I thought I could. My camera pics have date stamps on them so I don't tend to label them much.

I switched to dropshots. It automatically puts the pictures and video into date files for you. Something maybe needed for eyesinthewoods?

I think it's the ONLY complaint I have about this forum, and possibly why I don't frequent it more, is not being able to load pics directly to the forum but having to host them somewhere else. I am going to try again to post more now that I have a third party host worked out, but it honestly kept me away some. Even for the contests. Maybe it's just me, and not trying to complain, just letting you know my thoughts. I LOVE Chasingame in almost every other way.

I agree with you about eyesinthewoods and the photo stuff. It is too much trouble. In the future I hope to upgrade the site to a better system. Thanks for the comments.

It tries to resize on the fly but does not always work well (sorry). You may need to resize the photos first then upload. Make sure and resize a copy (not your originals) prior to upload so you dont.

When you open the box to reply at the top is several symbols.Where you want your pic to be click on the little square with IMG and it will look like this.
Place your pic IMG between the 2 and your pic should show up.

I don't follow you Bluesman. Are we talking about the same thing?

I think Blue is refering on how to put the uploaded photos into your post here at the CG forum.

As far as uploading photos to a site for use here I use Imgur, its free and allows you to resize photos on upload and gives you a number of different link to use including one to be use in a forum like this, all you have to do is copy n paste the link into your post. You can either upload photos there anonymously or create an account where you can keep your photos stored in a central location, you can also create albums if you wish.

I tried using EIW for photos as well but as already statedit is a bit of a pain, hopefully Anthony can ither replace that system or find a way to turn some of that photo stuff off.

If your interested the link is here. http://www.imgur.com

My pleasure, let me know if you need help finding your way around there but I doubt you will need it as it is fairly simple.

I'm also thinking about getting the pro version of SA to put multiple videos together. I just watched a video of someones 2011 season on Eyes In The Woods that was pretty neat.
