Read reviews here and made a purchase of a uway nx50. But had problems from the get go. Loaded a scandisk 16g card. Took pic (556) for a little bit then quit. Then put new batterys in and tryed again. Bomb again (25). Called Uway and had to pay to send it back and have it shipped back to me they said they could not reproduce but did send a 2g card back. It took pic for 24 hours (164)and then it quit again. It take pics sometime for 30 mins. Next time 6 - 8 hrs then quits. The last time it took pics (55) for 29 mins then sit for 3 day!!!Any help?

I have 3 of them. I use Sandisk 4 gig class 2 and 4 cards. They seem to be working fine. I do have a day from time to time when I dont get any pics but I dont have the cams on feeders so I could have a day without pics. Also I am not sure I will get may pics when the temps are around 95 to 98 degs. I think deer body temps are the same so will it trip the cam?? Uway has good CS so at least you will get it fixed or one that works.

I'd send it back to the dealer you got it from and have him swap it for a new one if that's possible.

I bought the NX80 and it will only work with class 2 cards. It will take pics with higher class cards but will not take any video. They really need to get there act together on these cams. This is an HD cam and I would like to use a class 4 or higher with at least 8 gb. As of now you cant. I dont think they make a 8 or 16 gb class 2 card so that claim of up to 16 gb will not work with video.

Anthony how about in HD mode ? That appears to be the setting that everyone is locking up on . And what version of firmware do you have in your cam that you are having no lockups with ? I had a bit of better luck in VGA mode . Got a few vids before it locked up . But the HD mode locked up on the 1st vid . Nothing worse than putting a cam way out there and wondering if its working . Long trip back in and disappointing to find it locked up .

The firmware on my cam is T71U0000x0302c Anyone recognize this version ?

I do like this camera though . The vids it did take look fantastic even in VGA mode. Love the camo and the size of this cam too . Blends right in . Now if only i can get past the flood going through the door and get it to work in HD mode or any other mode without any lockups I would buy another one of these.

might work?.....Has anyone got any lock ups on Class 2 cards? are they 100% safe?

like in November on scrape if i was to go check this cam and see that the scrape was

all torn up and lots of sign...if the cam didn't work i think i would take my gun and blow it

into pieces

X3 lol

Mine locked up after the 3rd vid in VGA mode with a nice 8 point eating my salt pellets and grape koolaid . I know he was there for awhile after the cam locked up . The only thing that saved the cam was I knew I was returning it , I would of dragged the thing behind the 4 wheeler until it dissintegraded LOL
