Hey guys need some help. Am going to start replacing some of my old junk cams and was wondering how the sensing is on the M80. Was going to go all lo-glow but they're more $ and not totally happy with the sensing on my Bushnell 466"s. My 466's do not like to sense anything smaller than a large coon even with 62 degree temps at night-totally missed a yote pup the other night. Had to hang a $40 Huntencam above the Bushnell to find out why my corn pile was disapearing.
So, how does the sensing and trigger times perform for ya in the real world and what height do you like the best?
Thanks for your input!

In my "yard tests" I could not get my two to sense past 30 ft. The temps were in the high 70s and lower 80s at the time for lows. . Im hoping for better once it cools off. They were identical ( I had them set up side by side ) in range and trigger speed ( about 1 1/2 seconds ) The detection zone seems fairly narrow, but is fine since they never missed if under 30 ft.
I have had mine trigger on rabbits , possum, and coons . Don't recall any birds or squirrels and very very few false triggers,,, which is fine by me if it doesnt miss any thing larger than a rabbit .
I have been setting mine up using the bottom section of a stick ladder at about 10ft high. to avoid the red IR spooking the deer and it seems to be working good. The camera will work fine at normal heights as well.

I have mine on a plot at standard hieght. I get deer pics in the tall grass outside the plot, that's a good 30yards away. Brother has one on corn, picks up rabbits and squirrel.

I think the sensors on my M-80's are pretty good considering every time my feeders go off they take a pic. Pike
