With Spypoint Customer Service about the black nightime pictures on one of the IR-6's. It's "condensation" they say and I should clean the lens with dish soap. Done.....no change still black nightime pictures. I should add these black nightime pictures are "sandwiched" between some good nightime pictures. Like 10 good pictures, 54 black pictures, 24 good pictures. HOW can that be condensation?? Oh yes, same temperature range. The other IR-6 had 75 good nightime pictures during the exact same time frame as the black pictures. I have sent them samples of the good and black pictures. Oh yes, we have already been through, " It's the card, It's the batteries" deal. I have swapped batteries and cards between the two cameras and the bad one still takes black pictures and the good one works. We will see what they say now. To be continued.....

I WAS about to order a Tiny and get one of the Fl-7's when they come out, but not now. This is like the $50 WGI's, it just ain't worth the frustration.

I have an fla with the same problem but when i change the batts it works good again only when it gets cold it acts up when the batts are low. Sounds like it is for sure not condensation. Probably a problem with the cam.

FINALLY, they sent me a RMA #, that's the good news. The bad news is it will be at least 4 weeks to get it back.

I'm having a similar problem with my IR-6 even with 3/4 battery level. I have sent Spypoint two emails and one voice message (won't answer phone) so far and they have not gotten back to me yet since Monday. Are they that busy with problem camera's that they can't even acknowledge a simple email? I hope this isn't the start of a big hassle of arguing.

I always got a prompt response from Kevin at Spypoint, even it it wasn't what I wanted to hear. They are replacing the IR-6 so they can keep testing it. The technician said he had never seen that problem before. The new one is supposed to be on it's way. The other IR-6 has worked flawlessly since September. My IR-A still has a sensitivity issue as it will only have 3 or 4 daytime pictures while the IR-6 had 424 pictures day and night.
