Everyone,

I can not create a "donate" button that directly sends the funds to Bob's account. I have created a donate page and will accept the payments on his behalf and then forward the payment notification and the funds to him as I recieve them.

I used his normal email address and sent him a donation and it worked so I have verified his paypal account this way.

Here is a link to a donate page for Bob by way of chasingame. click here to read about Bob and decide if you can donate. I hope this works for you.

http://www.chasingame.com/bobdonationpage.htm

Alternatively, you can login to your paypal account and choose "send money" and input his email paypal email address outdoorbob7@blomand.net as the recipient.

Thanks and I hope we can help him out with this.

Donated thus far:

Anthony Jowers @ Chasingame
David Johnson
Donald Carlson
Charles Gackstetter
Doug Bronson
Outdoor Essentials LLC
Bee Busy Shopping LLC
The Huntin Shack
tony lucaj

Thanks for setting this up Anthony. It's the least we can do to show our appreciation of Bobs contributions to the hombrew community here.

This is the least I can do. I can sympathize with this as I was in a similar situation with workman's comp being negative. I haven't been here that long to get to know him but I can see and read what a great guy he is. Get well soon. Everything will work out.

I logged onto Tennessee Deer Talk, another of Bobs favorite sites and he had posted a thread today, about his surgery, etc.

Anthony,
I have posted a thread on one of Bob's "home" sites, concerning donations. Hopefully Bob's friends there can show their generosity also.

Friends, you don't know how much this touches me. If I ever get the surgery the surgery will be paid for by the workmen's comp. The problem has been keeping bills paid and food on the table. This is an ordeal that has been going on for over two years now. During that time I was only able to work for about 3 months and then that's when I fell at work. That was back in January. Since then keeping the bills paid and food on the table has been difficult. You guys have answered prayers here. A thousand words couldn't express to you the gratitude that me and my family feel right now. To those that have given I pray that you will receive what you gave 10 fold. To those who are unable to give a simple prayer sent my way means much right now. Again, I can't wait to be back able to sit at my computer and sharing with each of you what knowledge I have and enjoying the sport/hobby that we all love so much. Again, a special thanks to Anthony, Bill, and Roscoe and all the many friends I have here at CG. Bob

More have given than the names that are listed Bob. Anthony is updating them when time permits. We are just friends indeed, helping friends in need. Glad to see you on here buddy. :D

I just sent the final payment to Bob. I updated the totals above.

I went back thru my paypal history and reconciled all donations against all payments. All are balanced and accounted for.

Bobby has received every penny that was donated thus far.
