Hey Guys,

I don't have my web page together yet, but I do have camo SG550's available. I will sell the standard package (camera & standard accessories) $209.95, and then I have a deluxe package (camera & standard accessories; + 1gb SD, + Python Cable, + Security Bracket) $250. Send me a message for more info, or to place an order.

Thanks ~ Hunt-n-Fish-VT

{I will also update everyone, when my site is up & running}

I attempted to design an extremely functional, yet inexpensive bracket for this little camera. Don't get me wrong boxes & bear cages are great, but they tend not to blend into their surroundings.

As show below, the bracket makes use of a python cable and actually torxs the cable against the camera given a slight dimension setback & the angled sheetmetal. I also incorporated the use of the lock hole in the camera door by aligning a small hole in the bracket on a tab running across the bottom of the camera. I continued by adding 6 teeth to back of the bracket, for grabbing power. And put a counter sunk hole in the center for the use of screw. To top it all off I added tabs at the top of the bracket to align with the strap slots in the camera. This acts as a docking feature & helps prevent against pulling the camera free, by working the camera back & forth until the python cable falls out of the groove across the front of the camera.

{Pay no attention to the blue bracket, this was my first test unit. They will end up being a black powder coat}

Hey Guys,

I'm not sure how well these will sell....... So I guess I'm stuck ordering a low quantity to start. But here is the breakdown:

My Purchase Qty.........Sell Price
1-24.........................$20
25-49........................$17.50
50+..........................$15

On your bracket: I would like to suggest an elbow on the top similar to the one on the bottom. This would cover the top of the camera to stop them from sliding the bracket up the tree until there is a little slack then sliding the camera out from the top. Also, the angle iron on the top would be a nice place to hang a weather lid.

Excellent idea Anthony! That would definitely work especially the idea of the weather lid. :idea:

Hey Guys,

I tried to keep it simple as possible to reduce the cost. But a roof doesn't seem like a bad idea, maybe I can add it to the next build of brackets. Also, I believe the 2 tabs at the top of the bracket, that insert into the strap slots on the camera. should keep the camera in place, and help prevent anyone from sliding it free.

Thanks ~ Hunt-n-Fish-VT

Yes, on second thought I see that your metal tabs insert into the strap holes. At first glance I thought they were on the outside of the camera. Your top tabs would keep the camera from sliding up. Sorry for the oversight.

I would like to suggest this to lock easily the bottom cover (but it won't work with side top elbows)
