I would like to talk to you about 5 of these brackets. Do you have any ideas about positioning the cameras if they need to be pointed down some?

How does the camera acutally attach to the bracket? Do you have to drill a hole through the cameras' back door?

Thanks

The custom security bracket makes use of a python cable and actually torxs the cable against the camera given a slight dimension setback & the angled sheetmetal. I also incorporated the use of the lock hole in the camera door by aligning a small hole in the bracket on a tab running across the bottom of the camera. I continued by adding 6 teeth to back of the bracket, for tree grabbing power. And put a counter sunk hole in the center for the use of screw. To top it all off I added tabs at the top of the bracket to align with the strap slots in the camera. This acts as a docking feature & helps prevent against pulling the camera free, by working the camera back & forth until the python cable falls out of the groove across the front of the camera.

I will post some detailed photo's later today

Thanks ~ Hunt-n-Fish-VT

Hey Insatiable, You don't attach the bracket to the camera with a screw. The screw hole is to mount the bracket to a tree or post if you want. The camera is held on the bracket by the bottom and side tabs as well as the cable when it is installed. Hope that helps.

I received my bracket for my SG550 yesterday. I'm very well pleased with it, great craftsmanship and a great price. I would recommend this bracket to anyone that has an SG550 camera. Thanks again Nick for a great product.

Scott.
