So far, the poll figures don't match with our sales figures as for which pattern sells more

picking a pattern without seeing it on a tree is very decieving. what looks good sitting on a table isn't what looks the best out in the woods. I think it's more of a feel good for the purchaser.

I voted for green simply because it is the least expensive! The camo is useless to me until the case is redesigned for security. I've got to buy a box for security, so the least expensive camera allows some funds to go toward a box.

Thanks,

Jack

Agreed!

Stem on a tree:

Stem down:

Grass on a tree:

It depends what type of trees...Actually as long as the shade blends in, the patterns don't really matter (my personal opinion)

I voted for Stem 1 but as Jack said I use a Security Box for all my Cams so the Cheaper the better.
But if I needed to use one without the box the Stem 1 would be my pick.David

I voted for Green. Color doesnt matter much to me and camo isnt that necessary in my applications.

Does anyone have a camo security box? Be nice if those came in different camo patterns, probably already have them, i just haven't looked.

No camo security box so far - it's not that practical to make a steel case camo to control cost, is it? But you can always do some customs camo job

To list a few youtube tutorials

Personally, I like this one

Here is a similar but simpler one

There are so many more on youtube, enjoy!

Cindy

PS: it'll be fun to run a contest on custom camo job with security boxes :P

I prefer the grass one, but with using the little security box, I don't see the benefit of camo....so I voted to save cash and go green.

My sg550v is slightly different, probably closer to stem_1 but darker.Doesn't really matter to me cuz if its out of sight of the camp or my Moms house it will be locked in the box and screwed to the tree!!

I agree with the post results. I like the Grass and the Green best. I prefer green mostly as I think it hides better on pine trees around here.

I believe anyone using their cam in the hardwoods would have to perfer the stem camo some kind of shade of grey, not brown. Bark on oak, maple, ash, elm has a greyish hue. To have brown colored leaves within the camo pattern, to me wouldnt be desirable. Mostly because there are no leaves on the trunks of trees where the cams are normally placed.

With the 3 that I have ( each a different pattern ), I'm happier by having some black spray paint on them to " tone " down somewhat. I have yet to find a tree with camo bark out in the woods....lol

I've misplaced the little strap that went with it so I am using a little bungee off an old Moultrie. Wrapped around a small tree
the green seems to stand out some. I think the Stem would look the best on bark. The thin bungee doesn't stand out as much as the black strap either. With camo like the old Tree Bark I think this little cam would "disappear" into the woodwork.
