550 SG catches punks in the act

Since early fall our neighborhood has been hit by random vandalism and harassment....toilet papering, 4-sale signs, beer cans, knocking-and-running.
I got a sg550 for Christmas and have been faithful in keeping it running during the late evening hours since then. Finally, last night at 11 comes a hammering on the door......and of course, poof they're gone. The morning download showed a short series of pics of one high schooler in our yard and two in the street.The last pic shows the backside of the kid running away....right at the time of the door banging. When my teen daughter woke this morning I showed her the pics...she identified the boy in the yard pic in about 2 seconds flat. The police are in the process of contacting parents.....hopefully something will result from being caught (like growing up!).
The first boy contacted by the police started to deny the event to his parents...then the police told him the 'security cam' evidence was telling a different story........

At this stage of the game we have the police involved, a couple parents that I know of, and a very angry basketball coach. One of the boys called to apologize, but I told him he needed to apologize to my wife in person...........a phone call just didn't cut it with me....keep ya' posted.

Was just thinking..............................I sure am glad that there were not cameras like we have today when I was a kid!!! :mrgreen:
