It would be nice if the camera put the serial number into the EXIF data. Then you could search the web for photos taken with the same camera, and maybe find who took it - if they ever posted a photo from it.

Had dinner last night with some friends that have a retirement home in NE Texas. He had a TrailCam watching the home. Thieves stole some stuff off his back porch and the trail camera too.
