Not only does this show flash range but image quality as well. Some IR cams have "lines" going thru the image or they may look grainy as well. I'm impressed with the Moultrie's image. It lacks the flashlight tunnel effect that most IR cams give and has good overall image quality. Now if they can just get the trigger time down and give consistent day color images.

I agree. THey sure have the battery life problem licked. Great battery life. I would like to see them create a new firmware update that lowered trigger time back to 1.5 or better and allowed for night movies longer than 5 seconds. I am not really hung up on the color vs black and white issue as much. We have the Reconyx RM45 and it is a b&w camera. I enjoy the photos.

Moultrie I40 is online now.

I am a bit confused a to why the I60 has more brightness. The IR array is the same as far as I can tell. Pics are 1 week apart. Moon was probably brighter on the I40 than the I60.

Any theories ?

Anthony could you get some pictures for Cuddebacks, Noflash and the new Capture IR?

We do not have the 2006 cuddebacks. We sent them back. The Capture IR we ordered wont materialize as Cabeles refunded the purchase. If it ever comes out we can try and get one.

Sounds good Anthony, I would love to know the difference between the two, the new IR looks like it has half of the IR lights on it.
