What kind of cam is that. I have a had a similar reaction to a older truth cam 35 . I have noticed some ir cams seem to scare the deer more than others,just to name a few..

Less- SG-550 , Spypoint ir-5, lil acorn,
More- Primos truth cams, M-80's, Stealth cams

you might try some of custom ones camo adhesive it will make the glow a little dimmer and would at least help the ir burn if not make the cam more tolerated. red flash video is probably not a good idea at night unless mounted really high. i really liked your tester.

The two non scrape vidos are more than six feet over the buck angled down. The ground slopes there.

is buck one and three the same fella , he appears to not like red glows at all , the middle one was a little miffed . i have found that on scrapes when they are primed one can usually get away with pictures but he looks like a red glow hater. the tape would work wonders for your first cam.s ir burn.
