you have to hook it up to your computer and erase the internal memork with your photo program.

Deleting Memory

I just purchased an IR4 and was wondering how to delete the internal memory so that I can put in my 2GB SD card. Thanks.

Oh and this was my first post.

You do have to hook the camera up to your computer if you want to format the internal memory. I think you may be able to press the reset button to do this also. I just put the SD card in it will write to the card and over ride the internal memory.
