So, I want to get back into filming my outdoor adventures but need to buy a new camera. I have been considering the Canon VIXIA HF R800 which costs around $200. It appears to be a good entry level camera. Drawbacks are that it isn't as great in low light conditions and the LCD screen is difficult to see at time due to glare. But, I thought it would be wise to begin with a less expensive camera and see how much time and enjoyment I will get out of filming myself before investing in a better more expensive camera.

My question is, who here films their hunting and fishing trips and what kind of camera/set up do you use?
Another nice PA buck

Should be another good one.
