#341640 I have an IRXT that I've been thinking about adding External Power to. I think the Moultries are a 12 volt system. I can get the Stealth 12 volt Battery Box Kit for under $60. What I would like to know is, whats the size of the plug that goes in the IRXT's PowerPanel Port? Also is the center the + on the Moultries? Would anyone happen to have a Radio Shack # for the plug? Or if by luck its the same size and polarity as the Stealth?
Thanks, CSB

#341647 I'm not sure what size the connector is but my Moultrie Trace's, Stealth's, Browning's and the Spypoints I use to own all used 12V and the same size connector. Maybe someone familiar with your cam might know the answer for the voltage. The center is always positive and you can buy 12v batteries off Ebay and make your own cables or buy them pre-made much cheaper. I bought these cables from Walmart and they work great.

#341656 I Googled it and the plug size came up on a previous CG posting. I then Googled the plug size for the Stealth and it looks like they are both the same.
Bobcat was looking a while back.

Looks to me like both the Stealth and the Moultrie take the same size plug? Which means to me that the Stealth external pack would work on the Moultrie, just plug it in?

I would double check the polarity making sure the positive and negative are the same on both but it should work

#353745 Question to the TS...
Did you buy the stealth 12v battery box?
The Moultrie battery box is not for sale in western Europe, but the stealth is.
Hope you did buy it or maybe someone else did?

Stealth, Browning, Spypoint, and Moultrie do use the same size plug with center pin positive. I use Spypoint external batteries for all my cams that I am using as home surveillance.

#353747 I understand about the plug.
Maybe the wrong topic to ask.
But does the Moultrie work save on this battery box

I have 2 of those Stealth battery boxes that are hooked to Moultrie cameras with no issues.

I can confirm that the 12V connector that goes inside the SPYPOINT cameras is a type «M». The positive inside diameter is 2.1 mm and the negative outside diameter is 5.5 mm.
