Just an update on some of the New Spartan cameras, announced at the ATA & SHOT shows are a palm sized non cellular whiteflash camera that will be released shortly and a blackflash version to follow after that. The whiteflash uses a xenon strobe for night time color images and white leds for color nigh time videos. Based on the Ghost cellular GoCam the GoLive camera will be released later this year that has all of the features on the Ghost along with the ability to turn on live streaming, you can watch what's happening live in front of your camera through the app. The GPS Ghost model has the ability to batch send, an internal rechargeable battery which allows direct connect of a solar panel and also GPS tracking, This GPS feature is really a great set up for theft, if stolen even with the batteries removed, the camera turned off and the antenna disable the camera will still send out it's GPS coordinates. There's also the whiteflash cellular camera that was released at the end of last year. I've included the link to some of the videos from the new non cell whiteflash camera below.

That my friend is a game changer, guess we will have to see how all this works out and if it's up to it's claimed potential.

Which feature in particular? I'm guessing you're talking about the live stream?

Both the Live Stream and the GPS.
Them doing away with pictures on demand was a big negative for me.
Fact is I had bought my last cam from Spartan because of it.

The white flash cell camera has been out for a few months, the non cell will be out soon. The cell camera is all LED illuminated, no strobe like the SR3

The GPS model has been out for a few months now, works great. The live stream I got to see perform at the ATA and SHOT shows, we had three cameras set up to stream, it's a really slick set up with lots of different uses.

What kind of illumination range are you getting in video mode? From the youtube examples it appears to be somewhat limited. But nice clarity.

It actually reaches out pretty far, with that log in front of the camera and the snow it was metered down. I'll post a few more after the next card pull. In at least one of the videos you can see the camera lower the flash so it doesn't wash out the closer subject.

Nice shots. Love the background on the deer.

Thanks everyone!!

hahaha. Yes, that is a rather high reserve.... Wh[…]

A Perfect Example!
