I put scraps from a deer I shot near a camera. It didnt take long for the birds to find and clean them up. I'm not very familiar with golden eagles but some of the photos have me wondering.

immature balds are often mistaken for goldens.
they migrate through my area in the spring, and i'm always unsure if they are balds and goldens or all balds, mature and immature. i do know though, that goldens can be huge. saw a pair on a cliff in the Yukon, they were way larger than i expected.
